Good work! This is a very nice mod! I've already played it for five hrs and not a sign of getting bored :) I have one problen though:
I can't find the kaypad code that I need to start the air conditioning in Hydro... I've searched everywhere. Or not *everywhere* bacause I haven't found it yet. And do I also need "toxin-a" for the environmental regulator? No vial has came across either.
Oh, I'm getting a headache.

Just finished playing this....over 14 hours of play at easy level!!!
I have to say this is fantastic and want more....

Okay, I had to start again because undead kicked in and the emails were mixed with another mod (making the story a little difficult to follow). One thing I have noticed, just on my arrival in Hydro, is the respawning. I've got midwives spawning right in front of me. Every time I kill something I can here something else spawning in the room next to me. This means I'm constantly getting shot in the back, unable to progress.
I'm not completely crap at this game, but this breaks the immersion a little. That and the stuffed sound propagation.

well, i´m through at last, and i´m deeply impressed.
it´s a wonderful variation on the original ss2 theme, though a little bit more open, catching the flow and feeling of the original game, using the main plot of the original story, but without copying it. besides the tremendous amount of work, which one has to state is made in a professional manner- every detail is made with care and love. and i DO like the colours of the new textures :)
thanks a lot christine :)
if i had to find a flaw: for my taste the levels are too tidy (i dont mean the level design), there could be more chaos, disruption and disintegration ;)

Hmm. What difficulty are you playing on?

Normal.

:weird: The whole point of me beta-testing was to check the spawning levels, and I never saw anything that bad on any of the difficulty levels . . . :erm:
Wait a second. Another mod. Wouldn't happen to be Return to the UNN, would it?

It was, but I'm now using an entirely new installation.

Very strange. :erm: Are you sure you completely uninstalled both mods before reinstalling Ponterbee Station? If you have, the only thing I can think of to recommend is to look into how to lower the respawn rates through the .cfg files. :erm: Although . . .
When you started playing on a different installation, did you use a save file from after you'd arrived on Hydro to get back to where you were? There's a chance that the spawn rates from RTUNN got saved, so reinstalling the FM wouldn't help, as it's a save file problem. If that's the case, I happen to have a save from right before Hydro, on Normal, which I can temporarily upload to my site for you, if you're interested. :)
