Not playing fallout 3 atm, but I listened to it.
I'm not sure what to say. It's ambient music and not really the delusionally sunny and happy type that fallout 3 is built upon. Stuff that undercuts the irony of the music and ups the seriousness doesn't sound right, although it's not excessive either. Honestly I was expecting more 50s songs.

Cardia, does your mod replace the default music or does it add another radio station?

It replaces the default music,
The music i added was electronic, musics similiar to the Soundtrack of S.t.a.l.k.e.r. , i never enjoyed very much the original soundtrack of fallout 3,
only a few tracks fit well with the game, Fallout 3 consists in chaotic and dramatic scenaries, so i decide to choose from my huge music collection musics with dramatic, sad and deep melodies, also they evoque an American atmosphere, i took almost one day to make this selection, and i´m proud that at the end i had a new soundtrack that fits well as a glove in the fallout 3.
check out...and let me know your opinion.

I've just been slowly filling up the music folder with music from Fallout 1 and 2. Games with proper music, not the mindless atmospheric filler that games are filled with these days.

Agreed , it´s difficult to find a recent game with a decent soundtrack, Thief is still the game with the best soundtrack ever.

Although it's not a game soundtrack, I've found myself listening to the dark ambient album Stalker as well as Nine Inch Nail's Ghosts while playing games like Fallout 3, Thief and, appropriately enough, Stalker.

How can you play Thief while listening to music?

Because I've played through the OMs so many damned times having different background noise doesn't bother me.
Besides, it's all ambient music anyways.
