My god this thread has taken a terrifying (if not entirely surprising) turn.
Why? Are you afraid of cats? Or are you afraid of the crazy cat lady? :cheeky:

Cat-tasthrophe sounds like he thought he was a guard dog. :D One of my friends has a cat, Rebel, who's pretty warped. Not as bad as Cat-tastrophe, but on his way. He's well known for breaking the wings of birds he can catch, then simply snuggling with them, and purring his heart out. If they try to hop away, he smacks them and snuggles with them again. If decides he does want to kill something, he leaves it in pieces scattered all over the yard.

My cat Mitzi used to bring me presents all the time. Birds, frogs, lizards, mice & the occasional small snake. The only problem is she brought them to my bed! Not a nice thing to wake up to.:eww: She was a good cat, but my dad's neighbor's ex-wife decided to clean out the house & the bank accounts AND take my cat!! I was too young to do anything about it then, but today that's a killing offense! :grr:

Jesus Christ that cat's cruel. All mine ever does is catch (and kill) mice and leave them to bloat in the backyard. Its first catch was a bundle of socks it put at my father's feet.

My cat Baku, used to find mice, and just essentially bat the mouse back and forth between his paws constantly, untill we take the mouse away from him. Now though, he just likes to antagonize the dog {Named Yoshi} now by running around the house to get the dog to chase him and then running down through the cat door into the basement, which would cause him to whine while the cat just sat around just out of the dogs reach.
Those two are always messing with each other.

Mitzi was a Manx. Manx are excellant mouse hunters. She used to catch these cute little field mice and play release & snag until the poor little thing's heart would stop. It seemed cruel, but these were the same cute little field mice who ate holes in anything containing the pony's sweet feed, so I guess I didn't feel that bad about it.

Cute puppy, very cute. One word of warning about keeping cats and dogs in the same house, make sure the dog can't reach the litterbox; some dogs enjoy the treats the cats deposit. Ick, ick, ick.
I adopted a new cat last weekend, she's seven and semi-longhaired. She's just getting comfortable with us; and is very affectionate. She came named Spooky, but for some reason I keep calling her Squeaky.

I'm not seeing a problem. I'm seeing a solution.
