Sorry D'arcy
I didn't mean to offend.

Downloading a game is never ok when it is not freeware or abandonware. When you buy a game, it is your responsibility to not lose or destroy the disc(s).

Apologies accepted. Just bear in mind the rules of the forum, and you'll do fine.
And welcome :)

Abandonware is a myth.

Maybe my despotic instincts are kicking in ;)

Catbarf, I hope you ended up getting a replacement copy.
I'm always jealous when I read posts from people who have just discovered SS and get to play it for the first time nowadays. Wish I could forget all I know about it and start again from scratch :)

You know, I still have a game saved somewhere in the cargo bays that we were supposed to continue somewhen ;)

Where did we end up in ours? I don't think we ever reached Hydro or Ops, actually...
Good times, when I have my internet back I'm so coming back to Shock MP on the week ends =)

Hey, D,
After reading about the new mod that is MP capable it sounds like we should try that one time (or even more than once). It sounds great. After all this time, playing SS2 again "vanilla" will also almost seem like a new experience.
It's good to be back on these boards :) I've been away too long.
