Some old 8-bit software required a dongle to work properly. He may find it useful there.

Probably worth offering on Ebay first Kolya. Some people will pay good money for good-condition originals.

It's all plucked away in the basement somewhere, next time I come near it I will have a look what's still there. I only remember Zak McKracken and some Amiga games development software. Most stuff I had was pirated of course.

If you've got a legit copy of the game you can download it. I dont suppose you saved the shards of your cd did you?
if you've got the game.. regardless of whether or not it works you've got proof that it's been paid for and that you are the person legally licenced to play it. who cares if the cd is broken. Your licence has been paid for so take a trip to some abandonware site and dload it. I own the game, i have the cd in my collection but for some reason the stupid thing wont run. But the cracked version will that I downloaded. there is nothing illegal about it. you own the game.
