Quick question: since the source codes are available, is it possible to port them to OS X and Linux or not because of DirectX?

The NewDark source code is not available. If it were, I don't know how possible it would be to port to Mac or Linux. I imagine it wouldn't be worth the large amount of work compared to the small number of people who would utilize it.

Yeah, sorry, I meant it is not available to public use but to Le Corbeau only. I wonder if he/she would do that one day.

I would imagine Corbeau would say something like

I wonder what is his roadmap for the NewDark, as he seems to have some kind of plan. Getting the best of DX9 rendering compatibility is one thing, writing or rewriting things from scratch is another.

1) release NewDark
2) update NewDark
3) step 3
4) take over the world!

I hope he can increase the object polygon limit. About 5000-6000 would be enough.
The other limits have been increased as well. This is not fair. Discrimination against object polys
:cheeky:

Objects aren't created by the Dark Engine.

So, how do I patch this patch again? I did it several months ago on my PC in the US, but now I'm in Sweden and I don't remember how to do it
