Any news on patch 1.1 (e.g. ETA)? The stuff I found via Google was from June and July.

Spring 2008, before CS. I'm serious. Because it's not just a possibility to continue game after NPP, but new type of quests and possibility to join fractions and do career in each.

Patch to 1.004 and just enjoy the game. Bardaks mod/fix is about the only mod that won't change the nature of the game.
Patch 1.1? no firm release date and I'll wager they won't do much until Clear Sky goes gold.

Pretty poor really that it takes them this long to release even the most minor of patches. Shows how much interest they have in fixing the game to a bug free version.

It hit my mind as well. Perhaps making the datadisc is a priority for THQ and human resources are limited.

Remember - it took 5 years to get Stalker out the door... so one year to patch post-release content seems about right :p

Whats with the fixation on MP? Is it really that big and important? I played some and it was fun for abit, sure, but entirely forgetable imho.

Personally, I really recommend that mod if you're playing with full dynamic lighting. It doesn't change gameplay, just some shader enhancements and a performance boost.

Cheers. I've now installed float 32, Bardak's fix, Stalker Skies and the Realism graphics mod. The game is amazingly atmospheric, and running around at night makes me quite anxious in this game.
