YAY! I finished my second run just last week. Screw it.
Anyway, list of changes :
(

The optional net traffic compression on a Multi-Player server is now disabled by default. This allows to host dedicated servers on computers with low and average performance.
Implemented
- compression option to switch off the network traffic on a server networked games (default is off).
This solves the problem of overloading the CPU servers with low productivity.
- A bug in the dialogue.
This error resulted in the fact that dialogues with a high degree of nesting were lopping.
- The possibility of creating servers for tournaments.
Access to the players on the list server implemented on the server (login and password).
Fixed-over 10 crashes in multiplayer game
- Maintenance of statistics on MP-match points, the use of weapons, and per-zone hit points
Most of them MP related. Nothing radically important. As if there still weren't dozens of obvious bugs left in the campaign.

Yes, there is only one (and unneeded) fix for SP. It's just a multiplayer patch.

Hmm that means they fixed the looping "Come in dont just stand there" and "Get out of here Stalker" looping sound bugs. Yay :D. Those annoyed the hell out of me.

Unfortunately no. It means they fixed endless loops of some (Bes f.e.) dialogues, not monologues :)

Realism Mod, AFIAK takes care of that looping problem. See, fans must tweak such obvious irritating things the devs can not tweak.

Those of you who still play the game: which mods would you recommend for a first playthrough? I'm looking for mods that improve the graphics or repair bugs, but that don't necessarily change the entire game experience.

1.0005 is one hell of a disappointment, they ignored so many bugs that it is hard to believe. I hope they are just saving the SP bugfixes for 1.1, since it will introduce freeplay and other nifty things.
