Bethesda has released a new official Morrowind plugin, Siege at Firemoth.

I downloaded this earlier, but after hours of fiddling I've decided I must've broken something. I talked to all of the proper people to get set up with the quest, but when I tell the Argo that I'm ready to go, he merely says "Hold on and we're on our way" or something, and nothing happens. I've tried it at different times of day, tried talking to everyone on the boat and on the land, etc.. But I can't get them to get on their way to Firemoth. :p

Well i think thats due to the scripting error I get when i start up MW. the error reads..
Firemoth_gate_2 in script not found Firemoth_sail_script
Another words..
the script that allows you to get to the isle is broke.
at least thats my understanding.

Yeah, that's the error I get (forgot about that), though for me it's Firemoth_gate_1 instead of Firemoth_gate_2. As near as I can tell, this error results from unlocking either of the gates at the dock in Seyda Neen, and that does indeed break the sail-away script. Thus, the only way to fix it seems to be to find some way to relock the door.

Avalon is right, you get that message if you unlocked the gate... someone made a fix for the plugin...

relocking the doors with the original rating of 10 doesn't work for me and i CAN'T download the fix at

Great plugin - though it's far too easy, until you get to the end.. I needed to activate god mode to last more than three seconds with that guy, and I have a fairly powerful character (all but one attribute maxed out, level 64, etc).

I had shit loads of trouble with that last bugger.
Then I realized that sunder was 10-60 and I totally kicked his ass.
