Is there anything problem this patch with tribunal expansion?
I got tribunal first, and then patched.
so it said "you got something more than *** function so it won't be functional"
I got frightened about playing so i pushed away now..
What do i do now?

i know this is a late response..
but for any UK morrowind players, it seems that by using the US patch, you can circumvent problems the UK version creates. the official forums have quite a few UK players reporting this. esp in the wake of DX 9's release.
if you have any doubts, there are a couple of pinned threads in the main tes forums. :)

Another quick note:
This patch is already included when you install Tribunal (Along with a few other fixes.) If you own a copy of Tribunal, and have it installed, you DO NOT need this patch.
If you don't own Tribunal, then this patch is still the most recent you can download.

I'm having some trouble with the patches. As the website implies, I downloaded the smaller patch listed as for the Australian version. This patch only installs to 33% before throwing up an error about morrowind.bsa not being the right version and. I tried the european patch (which also seems to list some bugs that I've been getting in the extended bugfixes) which installs properly, but Morrowind will crash when I start it after installing the patch.
Morrowind works fines without patching though, bugs aside, except that it won't run unless installed to the default directory. The version of morrowind.exe with a fresh install is 1.0.0417
I really want to get this patch to work as I'm having problems with shifting armour types (Dreugh and Indoril changing to Heavy). In the interests of trouble-shooting, I've previously had a warezed version of Morrowind installed but I'm certain that there's no traces of it left. I've also done the usual uninstall/reinstall routine. Running Windows 98 with DX 8.1.
edit: further testing reveals Morrowind will load with the european patch if windowed. I'd hardly consider this a workable solution, but it narrows it down a bit. I'll update video card drivers.

The Australian version uses the same patch as the US version. Try re-downloading the patch (just use the normal US one) and try it again.

Judging from what I've seen on other forums and even in this thread, I don't think this is a bad download problem, at least for the US patch. I'm not the only person who has had it stop at 33% while processing morrowind.bsa. The European patch doesn't show any signs of being faulty either and at least it installs without any errors. Updating video card drivers (GF4 4200 Ti) didn't help either.

Just wait. Even if it "freezes" up at 33% (US) or 43% (EU). Just double click on the file and wait. DON'T minimize or anything or it will not respond. Click it and let it run then run off and do something else... go read a book or something and come back 5-8 minutes later. :)

Just a note for us XP users. I was having a terrible time getting this patch to install (it would come up with an error saying it is not a correct patch or some sort) and finally came across the brainy idea that I had to enable compatability mode (Win 98/ME mode). Seems that the people who packaged this whole patch didn't take into account the changes that came with Windows XP. :tsktsk:
Anyway to enable this right click on the executable and there should be an option that says "run in compatability mode" or the like near the bottom of your choices. From there you can easily figure it out.
For everyone who had problems with the install stopping at 33% or the like, they should do as the previous poster suggested and wait it out. Takes some time but it fixes itself.

i've used XP Pro since it came out and never ran into that problem with installing the patch. and i have several systems that the game's been on.
hope it works for anyone else having install problems.
