Again, they didn't bother to allow the user to access the list of bug fixes and changes until AFTER they install the patch. So again, I've posted the patch's entire (http://www26.brinkster.com/zaphod21/morrowind/readme120722.txt) README.TXT file.

Actually you can access the Readme from the official site even before you download the patch (http://www.morrowind.net/downloads/updates_patchnotes2.htm) here. The link is found in their (http://www.morrowind.net/downloads/updates_patches.htm) Patch section.

Ok I'm playing with the non patched version of morrowind as I never installed the first patch when it was released but since the second official patch is out I think it would be a good idea if I installed this one

I was wondering whether i need to download the previous patch to install this new one or whether this patch includes all the fixes the previous one did + more?

Also i was wondering whether i need to wait for the European patch - I'm from the uk and my game is the UK version so i'm unsure which to install.

If it matters (and I've heard rumours that it does) my CD 'box' has both the Bethesda and Ubi soft logos on it.

Also one of things that put me off downloading the last patch was the fact you had to start 'messing' around with the editor saving and re-saving etc; I've never investigated the editor as you can tell and I was wondering if 'activating' official patches is as hard as I fear.

Great... only thing I hate about patches is having to update all my mods, or I'll get that annoying message about old versions of morrowind.ess...

And you only need to download the latest patch... the update replaces the old files.

Ok my post was long with many questions so i can't be surprised if i haven't had more of a response but if somone from the UK could just confirm whether i can (and should) use the North American patch I'd be very greatful.

You certainly can use the American patch, people in the UK with the same version as you did this with the last patch, and didn't seem to have any problems.

But I don't know if you should use the American patch. Personally, I will wait for the European patch...

Yeah, I waited for the Euro version of the first patch. Will wait again for the Euro version of this one. Not sure whether mixing and matching patches would work anyway. As you can see, on the official website it says this patch is for North American, Australian and European Collector's Edition versions of Morrowind only. You could give it a go I suppose but personally I'm going to wait.
