Version 1.1 is now available. Cleaned up the code some, should be a slightly shorter pause due to a change in the code. Also, the chance of getting the "Removed gold from inventory" messages should be very small. Still a noticeable pause after exiting dialogue. Renamed the vendor to Isilden also.

Could you explain what this is to those of us who never played Daggerfall (If that's what it's from)?

i have 2 guesses. either it's actually a PACK guar that follows you around as a secondary inventory, or you can ride it... my guess is on number 1, since no2 would require new animations and whatnot.
no guars in Daggerfall, but this would be equal to
a) the wagon
b) the horse(which it's likely not).

This is from the readme:
"This plugin places a new NPC who sells pack guars. The Pack Guar
Vendor can be found in Balmora in front of the Pawnbroker shop.
The cost is 1,000 gold for pack guar. This guar will follow you
around and carry your items for you. To give and take items, use
the barter screen as you normally would. Ignore the cost, your
money will not change when giving and taking items from the pack
guar. Speak to the guar about Commands to tell him to wait or
follow you again."
Think of the pack mules from Dungeon Siege :)

Svenn, I made a post about the Guar mod in the official Morrowind forums, in the long Pack Guar thread.
Great mod! But I am having trouble with the pathing. Not talking about cramped areas here, like towns or narrow passageways (obviously you should not take it into town! :) ) but wide open landscap and on normal roads. Outside of Balmora (south) when you walk along the path along the river, the guar completely looses its pathing as if it hits an invisable wall. The same thing happend a little further away (about 60 feet) when I wanted him to follow me through a river, since I could not take him across that narrow suspension bridge that is there. He went in the water, but then lost his pathing again, and kept running everywhere.
Do more people have problem with his pathing?
It happend thrice in the small area that I walked with him, all on wide roads with no obstacles.
Is the Guar tagged for "swim" too? I looked into the mod, but forgot to check that.
Edit: I checked the earlier version I have of the Guar mod, and swim was not checked. Maybe that accounts for the fact he did loose his pathing in mid-river. Also, that spot where he lost pathing right next to the river, he might have conquered that if he could have swom a little, since he also kept trying the river when searching for a path, but obviously he could not go to the deeper part? Unless I totally mis-understand the "swim" tagging, off course. :)
Going to try the updated version now. :)
I also got the "32 k was taken from yourinventory"message very often, and once there was left 90k in my inventory, after I had ended the dialogue with the Guar.
But it seems very promising so far! Thanks for all the good work.

I really like this mod. I'm having a problem though; my pack guar is stuck inside House Haalau. :eek: How to I get him out? He justs runs up against the walls/stairs and will not come unstuck. I know...it was dumb of me to take him into a building. Help!
