Wow, those are pretty pricey, even on ebay. How about something like this:

any scrapheap athlon64 over 2.0GHz will do just fine,and they are cheap,whether you want to buy new or used..wow,they actually still sell p4?

Right, I dig, but as far as running any of the Thief games maxed out, the Prescott should be plenty good enough, right? At this point, I'm trying to configure the cheapest machine possible without taking a hit in power/speed (specific to the Thief games only).
