I've recently purchased an MSI laptop with duo core pentium T450 processors at 2.4 ghz
and 4 meg ram. Running Windows 7. I loaded garrettloader and a couple of fan missions. Each time I install it defaults to the original T2 mission and wont play the fan mission. When I go back to Garrettloader it shows the fan mission is not yet installled. I get no errors in Garretloader.
Any help would be appreciated - I'm missing my Thief time.

Where did you install Thief?
In Windows Vista and 7, the Program Files folder is write-protected, so anything that modifies the game files (like fan missions) won't work if Thief has been installed anywhere under the Program Files directory. So, if you installed it there, try installing it elsewhere, like "c:\games\thief" or, what I did, "c:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Games\Thief".

Thanks for your speedy answer Enchantermon - you were dead on I moved thief to a new folder and awayyy weee gooooo.
