In my option, although the nuthief is not good as one two games, at least, I hope the nuthief be a good game more than thief 3.
personally, this is My Thief 4 idea and wishlist.
-Garrett in a office room.(pre-start mission, )
-mission briefing is 2d animation.(classical thief style.)
-start mission, the girl bring the tools.(water arrow, fire arrow, rope arrow, flash bomb, tip(if you purchase it, you can encounter the event some location.), etc.)
-metal age size map scale.
-choose the path.(hammerite path or pagan path. like, witcher 2.)
-more creepy horror element.(for excemple, abandon ghost castle or illusion horor.)
-advanced good AI.(fore excemple, when you master thief Difficulty, 1. alarm state is too slowly off. 2.noise is bigger than other difficulty.)
-First person stealth!(my favorite play type.)
-new enemy who can see garrett in the shadow.(in this case, garrett go to the light. this enemy is Nocturnal enemy. so this enemy can't see the garrett in the light.)
end of line.

You know, I noticed this too in the video. It made little sense to me. Sure, okay, maybe he'll hold onto his most valuable stolen object for a week or so, but he steals to get by, not to admire his handiwork from his barcalounger. Seriously!

Dishonored.

Crowbar tool? Could be cool; something to get through various locked things that you can't pick at the cost of noise or chance of loud noise.
Utilizing the environment? Points! Doing it by basically reskinning explosive barrels? Eh....
Hands visible in FPS looks really dumb.
Graphically, the environment looks nice if rather uncolorful.
This swooping/dash move disturbs me for some reason. It's a combat roll but without the disorientation.
Broadhead AND sawtooth arrows? Already leaning toward being too combat oriented.

Now this gripe may be applicable to the original Thief games but max amount of specific arrows? Why not a max amount of arrows of any type you choose?

Can kill or not at all. Hrm. Even in the originals, levels had a variety of difficulties. Casing the Joint wasn't ghosting but just being seen resulted in failure.
3rd person, cinematic, 1-button (I assume) takedowns NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~

Embersage Oil! For fire resistance! 1) Slathering oil on oneself seems like the opposite of what you should be doing. 2) How much fire is there going to be? Oh god, not burning escape scenes?! That's why they shows the city on fire!
Upgrade for reduced chance of being hit by arrows? No arrow physics (just chances to be hit) or lowered enemy accuracy?

The trailer was enough for me to dig out my blackjack and polish up my eye. Yeah, it's going to be different, time always marches on. I for one am curious and looking forward to Garretts return. Will i buy it? yes, i rather think i will.

Do I really have to hold your hands through this? We're talking about something called a choke arrow and I mention moss arrows in TDS. I'd just leave it at "what do moss arrows do when you fire them at a guard's face in TDS?" and leave you to join the dots, but you're clearly incapable.
In TDS moss arrows can be used to choke guards and incapacitate then for a few seconds.

So? It's still an upgrade. Your initial point was regarding the Alarsus extension, and was entirely about them stealing the idea. It had nothing to do with what the upgrade is (indeed, what is the nature of the bow upgrade in the Alarus Extension, hmmm?). No backtracking. You were wrong. Bang to to rights.
