We will not be enabling avatars, signature images or anything like that.
*SIGH* That's pity.

It looks pretty good, but it's hard to read the topic-titles what with them being the same color and all. Would be nice if you changed that. Otherwise it's looking pretty good. (But not as good as it used to if you ask me, but hey)

Looks nice, some interesting new options. I'm glad the colour scheme was preserved. It does look a little alien and intimidating right now (big icons etc.) but we'll see.
Since this also appears to be functioning as an unofficial bug report thread, I should point out that IE6 crashed when I posted in the Thief3 forum (post was registered, so only an annoyance) probably a one off thing.

EDIT: No problems this time. It's nothing.

Avatars aren't so bad if you put strict physical/byte size limitations on them, and forbid animated avatars.
Images in sigs, OTOH, are devil-spawn.

2. I like some of the new subtle tweaks and added functionality. Even little things like "Close All Tags." Nice.
From previous experiences, 'close all tags' never works correctly. But maybe that's because I used to manually type the opening of all tags. On the bright side, now that tags can be applied to marked text automatically, I won't have to be dissapointed all that often.
Also, I see that unlike phpBB 2.0.6, the smily window doesn't seemingly dissapear when you click a smily, only to reappear later on. On the bad side however, it's got a sidescroller :p
Anyway, cheers for the new forums :thumb: And may the olde ones rest in peace.

It works. But you can still see yourself. See that * mark next to your nick? It means that you are invisible.
LOL. A picture of me poped up in my mind where i walk with a "i'm invisible" sign into a jeweller store.

Looks like all the CSS for the forum is coded using ABSOLUTE point sizes-- which means the browser font size setting is completely ignored. This is, without question, a Bad Thing.

I agree with Zylonbane.

The "Forum Tools" selection on the top right of the Editors Guild is buggy. The "Subscribe to this Forum" part.
