Just a quickie before I get ready for work.
The fecking huge icons? Not staying, but at 3am after 4 hours of work the tellytubby icons were the least of my worries.
The search is currently inactive as we had to delete the search index to keep downtime to something reasonable.
And Zaphod, I don't think the Wysiwyg editor works with HTML enabled.

It looks all...WinXP. Not quite my taste, but that's subjective aesthetics talking. Must have been a shitload of work to get it done with so little downtime (was there downtime?). Well done.

It sucks! I hate this new version. Can we have the old one back please?
Things don't get better, they get worse! :p
OK. Maybe i'll start liking it later when i've got used to it. I personaly hate change myself but it's probably for the best. Tell you something though, it's damn fast. Not like before when it could take ages to post or get into the site. :p
At first i thought we had lost the "Who's Online" part in the threads, but found that at the bottom. I couldn't see it before and that made me feel alone, lost. But there it was, right at the bottom! :thumb: PHEW! (I don't like it right at the bottom though!)
Let's see how it goes eh? :)

* The pages are coded as xhtml and have an xhtml-trans doctype, but are served as text/html;* which contributes to the fact that it (

thead rather than just being
th (table head cell) elements;* tables everywhere;* copyright contained within a
form element; and* lots of embedded scripts that could be moved to external (and therefore cachable) files."Preview changes" button is teh win!!11!

I like this a lot. Good work guys.
p.s. please don't succumb to the Avatar request. I hate forums with Avatars.. they are unneccessary.

First reaction when loading the new TTLG: "I must've clicked on the wrong link in my email."
2nd reaction: Uh-oh... I dont like it. Just when I thought no forum could look better than TTLG...
3rd Reaction: I'm getting used to it already.
4th Reaction: "Hey admin, some forums let you pick a color scheme in your User CP... why not allow multiple "skins"? I especially recommend having on the bottom-left of ALL pages a quick-change buttom that quickly loads a very, very DARK color scheme, or this one, for night/day users.
At night this forum burns my eyes out - at day it's fine. There SHOULD be a dark scheme for nighttime readers who want to preserve their eyes <they number greatly around here.
Otherwise, it's a good new look. :thumb:

Finally, vB3. Great work, David, MsLedd, and whoever else that's been working on it. It loads up much faster too.
(
http://www.blackcatgames.com/forums) We beat you tho. :p ;)
Ah, I'm glad I'm not the one that's going to rebuild the search index on over 1,000,000 posts. We only got ~85,000+, and even that takes a lot of time.
Good luck. :)

I believe you may want to redirect your criticism <a href="http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=55">here</a>.

Not a criticism, just a response to this
