Quick reply has been discussed in the past, and the main reason for *not* implementing it is that it would make is oh-so-much easier for people to jump around the boards posting "+1" or ":thumb:" or "LOL" on every page they visit.
Not that we won't ever have a QR box, but I gotta say the thought of more of that sort of asshattery makes me go "ewww".

If you keep the minimum character limit, that shouldn't be a problem.
Also, if you exclude smiley code from the characters that go toward that limit it would be even less likely.

First of all, that's for PHP-Nuke & phpBB, a completly different system than vB. And second of all, I'm *pretty sure* that the way TTLG looks today, is the look they'll keep for like forever.

We have discussed multiple styles and may generate some, but not with black backgrounds as we dunna like them cap'n.
