I really don't want to pick on this campaign, as it's obvious a huge amount of work went into it, and the mapping for the most part is really nice. But I'd agree that there's a certain by-the-numbers feel to finishing it. The mechanic of "collect codes to blow the place up" is getting a bit tired at this point.
Spoilery discussion:
If I were handed these maps, and didn't suck at ShockEd, and had a crapload of free time, I'd have gone with more of a "Haunted Cathedral" mood to the campaign. Set the overused Many up as a red herring and have the real disaster be everyone turning into mutated creatures from the ice cream (and give the ice cream a less silly backstory). Instead of lots of low- to mid-level monsters, I'd have gone with fewer, more powerful monsters and a greater emphasis on sneaking. Anyone who's played NOLF2 and remembers the Arctic Base level will know what I'm talking about.

Because
your shuttlecraft had been trashed by the ice beasts. It was? Oh, I didn't really notice... I was busy dealing with those pesky ice beasts. The ending could have been more explicit about it though,
like showing Goggles stranded on the surface.
And what's with the
ice beast-flavored ice cream. Was it supposed to be relevant to the story or is it just an amusing subplot?

Geez anybody is a master mapper now.
There is a part at one time in this mission where you can be sneaky, a lot.

Could someone tell me in which area the access card to Science is located? I've ran around the crew quarters, garden, the cargo bay, etc. for hours without success finding it. :o

It's in the crew quarters.
Go to the garden.
Go through the secret.
Go out the door, into the outside area.
Cross the outside area and go through the locked door.
Take the first right.
The keycard is in a crate there.

You're welcome!
I must admit that I did like the whole concept of looking for both access codes and activation cards. Didn't feel contrived to me... in fact, it somehow remembers me the deflector dish scene from Star Trek First Contact... hehehe!
