I've found and explored the big building in the 2nd level thoroughly, found a circuit board on the 3rd floor. But now I have no idea what to do next.
You'll need it in the office by the entrance.

Right now I'm trying to find out what the number is to enter that office by the entrance to Polaris. Could someone tell me where I find the log with that information?
It's in a cave in the 1th level. It's the cave with the laser pistol, one of the corpses nearby has it.
So, Christine . . . how many more months until the next one? ;) Or are you going to have a nervous collapse if you ever open ShockEd again?
I just don't know what I should do next. But I really prefere ShockEd or Dromed to newer Editors... ;) :p

I keep saying someone should try doing a Shock-themed FM in the TMA engine. But it would be a lot of up-front work to get all the assets in place.

I thought this while I'm building the first level of polaris, I really had problems with this one, in Thief II I would be able to build more details...
I don't know if it's possible, expecially all the psi stuff and the inventory. But the biggest problem would be the level-transfer. You can't go back to a level once you are in the next level....

It's not wrong to say "pommes frites" instead of just "frites", but in my experience it would be somewhat old-fashioned. "Pommes" in this case is short for "pommes de terre" which is the formal word for potatoes. Using just "pommes" as you do means "apples" though.
I know. I'm french myself... :D
... though I never heard "pommes" or "pommes frites" before... or maybe just one time but it was in a comic book with a stereotypical belgian guy.
Anyway, thanks for the info!

Oh yeah, all that stuff is impossible. It would have to be "future Garrett", basically. Probably would end up a lot like how Deep Cover was supposed to be.

Remind me again what exactly is to be gained by using the Thief 2 engine over the SS2 engine?
SS2 supports pretty much everything that Thief does, and then some (multi-level, multiplayer, etc.)
Porting Thief to the SS2 engine certainly has its advantages, though...

The sky, clouds, wheather, fog....
You can build more details in Thief II, in the outside levels it happens that the light screws up, when I try to add more details. So the snow is very flat....
But I allways missed the multi-level in Thief II :D
