In an earlier post it was said the Maingate key was on a body on the first level. I have searched every body on the ground outside and on every floor of the construction site. No maingate key. Is this first level another multi story location to be searched?
I think it's first level of the game (where you start the game), not first level of the construction site.

Hi folks. I bought SS2 as soon as I had a PC fast enough to play it waaay back in 2000, and I've lost track of how many times I've played through it. I'm fairly new to fan missions, though, so new Shock 2 to play has made me happy as a clam!
Respect due to Christine and everyone involved in modelling custom objects, recording audio logs and... doing whatever else making custom missions involves! The new enemy models (flying drones, saurians etc) are particularly impressive, but nothing tops that little plush Ernie :) I'm particularly impressed by the voice acting- you've managed to gather a respectable array of accents and everyone involved puts in a good shift- I've heard worse voice work in any number of professional game productions. The addition of Al and Peggy, as well as adding a spot of continuity, was a fine bit of in-jokery.
I've played through Ponterbee, Nightwalker and now Polaris, and I have to say that I think Polaris is the weakest of the trio. The new vehicle models are excellent but the internal layouts are confusing without a map and pivotal items seem incredibly hard to find. I've had to look in this thread for hints to a couple of things, and I still can't find the recording with the third destruct code on it. I fear I may crack up if I don't locate it soon. Does anybody happen to remember where it is?
EDIT: Someone stated the number earlier in the thread, thankfully, and I was able to follow the mission to its bittersweet conclusion. I'd still like to know where I walked past the recording, though, just for completeness :) Also, I assume you're supposed to be able to leap from the floating crate in the flooded room near the tram station into the vent, but I can't manage it. I even tried taking some dexterity tablets, but I still couldn't make the jump. Is there another way in, or am I just doing it wrong?

It's just a way back for players who jumped from the tram into the water ;)

Sweet zombie Jesus. It's like System Shock meets Far Cry. This should be fun.
Christine, I've loved your FMs, but a small request-- please, not so much key/code hunting in this one?
EDIT: Also, in (

The screenshots remind me of the bonus mission in NOLF - GOTY edition.
