Yes I can confirm NewDarkLoader has issues with FMs labeled folders. In a previous post here I had the same issue with System Shock 2. Once the fan missions were moved from that folder to another everything is fine. I hope R Soul can tell us why FMs labeled folders have that issue.

There are too many threads that are worthy of being pinned at the top so instead, if you check, you will see a (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139559) Links thread. The first post includes links to all the threads of importance, including loaders, all sorted out for your convenience.
Understood. Thanks.

It's a strange situation. It's been a while since I've been able to get it to crash.
Here's another version with a few more things added to the log file, and the logging state can now be toggled with Ctrl L
(

(Just extracting NewDarkLoader.dll should be fine if you already have the program)

I've an issue. I toggled the full screen readme for A Short Night's Work, and now I'm unable to toggle it off. I can find no way to get back to NewDarkLoader and access any other mission. I'm using version 1.5.5. I even reinstalled it to see if that would fix things. I then tried updating to 1.5.7. All with no luck.
Help, please. There's other FMs I want to play!
For the record, I've greatly enjoyed this- and previous- versions of NDL. I abused the heck out of the comments section of DarkLoader, & I'm so happy to have that again, as well as ways to mark which difficulties I've completed. Thank you.

Open NewDarkLoader.ini in your \FMs folder, go to the
SplitDistance= line and change the value to 0.5, then reopen NDL and it should be split-screen again.

There should still be a dark grey 'resize' bar just above the readme window. If it's not working, or it's not thought to be obvious, I could set NDL to reset the readme size if the program is closed while it's full sized.

Well, it obviously wasn't obvious to me at first (or fifteenth) glance, hah. In my defense I was likely far more tired than I should've been; nonetheless now that I look, I can see that it's just barely short of completely fullscreen at the very top. So while it's obvious to me now, sticking in the 'reset if program closed' might not be bad next time you decide to update.
Thank you Dahenjo, R Soul. And particular thanks to you, R Soul, for the program itself! I greatly appreciate it.

Discovered this very useful app today on a recommendation by Yandros over on the Codex. It's a perfect hybrid of DarkLoader and FMSel and is now my default way of launching Thief FMs. I'd love to see the following features implemented in future builds, however:
- the ability to sort by Author
- adjustable font sizes for both the main browser and the txt/info files window. (My eyesight isn't what it used to be).
Other than missing these features, it's pretty much perfect for my needs. Thanks, R Soul, for making it.
