:erg: They should be there right from the start. Hmm. Very odd..... What about any of the other methods Zygoptera mentioned? Will any of them work?

The charge icon appearing is a consequence of the enemies using EMP shots which drain your items of power. For some reason it sometimes effects the icons of non-powered items too. Doesn't have any real effect on them, but I don't know why it happens when they don't have the receptron needed.
UV: There's a secret room Shodan is hiding in. The wall to it is slightly transparent and doesn't mesh with the architecture around it. It's in one of the top level multi-octagon rooms with black/gray panelling. There are more exact instructions in one of my previous posts.

Oh, you mean you hadn't.....
Oh. Boy, I feel stupid.

Enchantermon - always looking past the obvious :p .
I'll probably play it on my better comp to see if it plays smoother after the 2nd sim unit (thats about when it gets dodgy, just hoping it was a system limitation and not the game)... and seeing as i'll internet access we should get a mp game going :cheeky: .
Edit
Also, of what significance are the unknown items for completing each part, obviously one is a gun, but the others I do not know :S
The 'mystery items' have, er, mysterious effects.
One acts as an auto-researcher, one makes the player invulnerable for a short period, one makes the player invisible for a short period and the gun does little damage but fires rapidly and can use any sort of ammo.

I never would have thought to use the damn thing on researchables. Here I was going around killing everything so I'd have enough cyber modules for sufficient research skill to get those last few researchables done, but apparently it was unnecessary. Bastard.

"It is unclear exactly what this item does. Perhaps a bit of experimentation is in order?"
"What this item does is not apparent."
"This item is in flawless condition."

Of course, the fact that it didn't say "this item requires a research skill of blah to research" wasn't a hint either.
I quite liked the sequential searching mechanic. Nice new turn on the way research works imo :)
