Just watched both the Official Trailer and the Official Intro Movie.
Looks good... I really like the looks of the circular HUD.
Felt like the trailer gave away a wee bit too much of the plot, but, oh well.
Good stuff.
Oh, and this should probably be in the Deus Ex 2 Anticipation forum.

I like the gameplay showed in the trailer (though the ragdolling looks a litte strange, still cool though). I really did'nt like the music by Kidney Thieves, though... But it probably fits the game better than anything I would suggest.

Interface is very intrusive, the animations are ugly, the rag-dolling is more exaggerated than Hitman 2's and overall, very cartoony. In summation: not what I was hoping for.

I liked it
The AI seem to have intelligence. Notice when the it is night vision view, the AI runs out of ammo and then surrenders, before the player blows his head off. Also I like the way the AI tried to destroy the spider bot with a flamethrower and caught himself on fire. Looks great :thumb:

Eidos is trying to make the "stealth" shown on the trailer to keep the same pacing as the action ... no more then that.
What fun would stealth like that be to play? Barely any at all ... yuk.
But what fun would stealth like thief be to watch in a trailer? Barely any at all ...
BTW, since you're a thief fan, you might want to go to the circle and see if they still have a version of the original thief trailer there. It might open you're eyes a bit. ;)
