I'm sorry, but if you think this mod has any kind of taste or decency then there is little hope for you.
Just one example... hong kong was not "cooool" enough as little market stalls and a small shopping area, no, instead they had to make it supercoolamericanstyleextreme and make it into one giant shopping centre. :rolleyes:
The unatco hq is just the epitemy of good taste too. I still stand that it looks like something raven would make, and that is certainly not a good thing.
It's like "let's add this and this and this and this and make it shiny and COOL!L!!!! and POSHSHSH AND extravegantntntnt !!"

I mean I don't use it myself, I'm perfectly happy with the DX levels, but what exactly is the point of rolling your eyes at somebody else's hard work? It's not like he's charging you for it. You could do well to show a little respect.

Actually, judging from the demo this mod seems to do exactly what it advertises to do - surprise veteran Dx players with new architecture. Its not that the original level design was so ahead of its time and hyper-realistic that it knows no improvement. I mean, was the Hong Kong marketplace that amazing in the original?
I think Dan Knott is just trying to cover for the fact that he dismissed the mod before he actually tried it, and played the whole thing looking for flaws (if he played it at all).

I didn't play it at all actually cos looking at the video made it look tacky and tasteless enough for me to just think "eurgh" but hey if you lot want to carry on ripping into me about it then go ahead.
