The bad news is, yes, I won't lie, I was hoping for far more entries than we received. I'm not sure how exactly to account for this. If you are an existing or aspiring FM author, some constructive feedback would be much appreciated. Why did this theme and ruleset not interest you? What could be done differently next time? Let me know what's on your mind, so maybe things can be changed if another similar contest is ever announced.
I had an idea for the contest, but I still have unfinished works in progress from previous contests which are currently on hold due to dromed fatigue... might hop back into it later this year.
We've had the two big 20th anniversary contests recently and a lot of authors are working on big projects (Black Parade, Broken Goddess). I think it's just that a lot of established authors needed to take a break for a while. We've already seen this with the T2 20th anniversary contest getting fewer submissions than the TDP contest.

Wasn't a fan of House of the Architect, but loved Intertheft. Solid 8 which is a very nice number for me. It was so good that I can be detailed in my... I wouldn't even call them criticisms: the storage areas in the sewers felt kinda barren, there wasn't even much to get from there other than a few arrows here and there. Never found anything to do in that weird room you open with the Strange Key. Unfortunatey most of the shortcuts felt useless. I just entered Donald's mannor straight through the front door. Also there were people trapped in the water tubes? And the secret level behind the lord's bed was frobbed accidentaly when I tried to grab something unfrobabble that's in the bed, poking from under the pillow. Loved the passageway above the colloseum, and loved feeling almost lost but in a good way, and having that map made it great. It was chokefull of incredible detail, from the dumbwaiter letters to the "Gotcha taffer" to the architecture itself.

Turn around ;)
I did, but I can´t seem to find a way out.. there´s the fire blocking the way and even if I go all the way back, I can´t go back there cause I fell down into the water and can´t get up anymore. What am I missing?

Samantha, I think you are mixing something up now.
After entering the portal, your screen will turn white. This is not an error, but intended.
Move your mouse a bit until you see the exit. But it´s easier to just turn left/right, check your keyboard binding in the game options. Make sure to center your view first.
I hope you will enjoy this mission. :D

I loved Intertheft. The intricate, closed-in, maze-like architecture with so much to explore really engaged me.
I got all the objectives, but missed about 1300 loot.
Even with the maps I had quite a time navigating, but that is not a bad thing, actually.
Now, on to House of the Architect.
Some days later. . .
I loved House of the Architect, too. Much more spacious feel and with a lot of variety. I think the Architect really indulged himself in layout and decor. Very imaginative.
I'm not going to vote on a favorite. I'm just so grateful that quality missions are still being produced.

House of the Architect
Could someone please give me a hint on where to look for the sword?
I'm on the rooftops now and can't see any obvious thing to do here.
Thank you in advance!

House of the Architect
Sorry to molest again - I must be completely blind.
Do you mean the narrow spiral staircase connecting to the upper floor and private rooms?
Can't find any entrance to the area with Constantine's sword in the mentioned staircase.
Help, please!
Thank you!
