Finally got round to finishing Intertheft by Nomadman. Incredible mission, I absolutely love how compact it is compared to Thieves Guild but has 10x the intricacy. Hoping this author has the motivation to make more! :D

Really enjoying both of these missions. Well done to the authors!
I'm currently playing Intertheft and am sure I'm missing something obvious, but will someone please point me in the right direction regarding Lord Randall's sapphire vase?

The vase is in the safe near Randall's bed, but the key to that safe is in Donal's house, just like in the original mission. This is also stated in one conversation and maybe one note in the mission. Thus, find the key, then get your vase - the basics are easy to understand here, but the whole thing is a bit more complicated.

In Intertheft
I found a Strange Key and the door that it opens but inside the room there was almost nothing, did I miss something important?I'm not sure I found the door it goes to, but maybe it was so unremarkable that I forgot?
I was worried this would be a slog like the OM its based on, but every area felt distinct and I could easily tell which way I was going at all times :thumb:
The sewers left me feeling a little claustrophobic, but coming up into the lords' houses felt like returning home - though I had never been to either, they captured the essence of T1 so well with the architecture and texturing!
The only issue I had was with some lag in the casino barracks, and finding thieves
bunking in the water area sealed by pressure doors - how do they get out?

So I blind ironman ghosted both entries: House of Architect on 6th try and Intertheft on 8th try. Overall I prefer House of Architect, because it has bigger variety of rooms and some really nice view. Also there is bigger variety of challenge and it's more consistent. In House of Architect I needed to be careful through 90% of my run. In Intertheft challenge areas are harder, but there is less of them. They are both lords houses, but they are roughly 30% of my run where the rest is very easy to ghost or there is no danger, because people are snoring.
Also I have a question about this contest. We have only 2 entries, there is no link to voting site and deadline hasn't been revealed. So I wonder, it it still a contest?

I also played both missions and I really appreciate both of the.
"House of the Architect" was very interesting in it's level/art design and when I found out it was a first timer - WOW - I can not imagine what will be possible when this is the entry point.
"Intertheft" - thats the better Thiefs Guild mission, more focused, less confusing - backtracking design - awesome job.
Thanks to the authors for contributing those outstanding missions which can't be really compared I'd say - I would have a winner here. And I wouldn't worry too much about the number of entries - reasons where given above and they seem legit.
What would you guys think of a rerun of this after TBP was released and people had time to play it? Because I think it's sad that this very interesting topic didn't get more entries - reimagining classic OMs :/ Intertheft showed what could make a mediocre mission into a very fun to play mission

Just finished Intertheft and what a great mission it is. I never liked the OM thieves guild, it totally confused me and however times I played it so I was always left frustrated, but Intertheft is a dream, yes it was a little confusing but in a fun way and along with great readables, well placed thieves and loot this is how LGS should have made the original map.
So thank you Nomadman for a spectacularly good mission.
10/10 taffer points.

In House of the architect, when I go through the portal, there is only a white screen. Is this a bug or do I have to find another way out?
Awesome mission btw. I also agree with everyone that the readables are missing but other than that it´s very enjoyable! Especially love the maw part at the end with the huge skeletons over the towers :D
