I *really* wanted to participate. I took the decision not to though for various reasons,
What were the various reasons? Just asking. You're one of the big fm authors on here and your absence is noticeable. I'm sure DataElemental appreciates you cracking open their mission in dromed to evaluate how efficiently they compressed their file structure though.

Haven't finished Intertheft yet and I'm already going to give it a 9. Awesome!
Not sure if the proper thread for it but here goes:
any help on the location of the bracelet (who's the right hand man I should be after?) and the location of Reuben's crypt key? Thanks.First thing, congratulations to the contestants for their submissions!
I also lament the lack of dedicated threads for these contest submissions. But to lend a hand:
Reuben has two right-hand men working for him, Magrin and Thom. Thom has the bracelet, and if I'm not mistaken Magrin has the key you're after.
To find them, find the Beggar's Colosseum, then look up.

A big thank you to the authors for providing new Thief goodness, just a quick glimpse and both missions looks like future classics.
Now waiting for some cozy autumn nights to immerse myself in the atmosphere.

After a short session with both, I have to agree that they're really something.

I saw Alex's (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8_WaePlrL4) stream last night of House of the Architect and it looked very impressive. After having a quick play earlier, I can already tell I'm going to enjoy it (although, to be honest the amount of guards are a bit too much for me. They're not impossible, but I can see it getting tiresome.) I particularly appreciate the attention spent to player perspective when entering doorways. It really shows the time and skill spent making this. Thanks very much DE.
Ditto to Intertheft. This is one is something special but I won't be able to articulate it for a little while.

I'm busy with wrapping up The Black Parade and don't really feel like opening an editor after I spend 7 hours at work with another editor.

finished both missions,on intertheft there was only one door in factory area right hand side i was never able to open/never found a key for it,but completed mission with no problems :)
house of architect was fun,the ending felt rushed, but otherwise a great long mission i think i had 6,200 loot at end
cant wait to vote as i feel each mission had there winning points,so its going to come down to number crunching,i think it might be closer then people think from my thoughts on both missions
thank you so much to all who were part of this

I blind ghosted intertheft in 1hr53min 26sends - found 5883 ouf of 6960 loot, 4 ot of 4 pockets picked, locks picked 12, zero damage stats. some tight patrols but dodging them wasn't too diffuclt. I'll tackle the other one tomorrow.

Intertheft is just *chef's kiss*.
Sumptuous visuals, excellent design and flow, great level of polish aside from one or two areas where it's possible to get stuck, and best of all, a beautiful and detailed map. Any mission with a map like that gets bonus points from me.
