The voting page is up, cast you votes sometime within the next month. And I encourage you to leave comments on these missions, especially given that these are two first time authors.

Well, so far I've finished House of the Architect.
Really enjoyed this. A lot to explore with a good atmosphere and a rich amount of detail. I'm not normally a very patient loot-hound, but on this occasion, it was worth spending time in every room to have a good look round.
Despite this, I still only managed 8402 loot!
Nicely designed and simple in objectives, it can be played without having to trawl through lengthy (and usually unrealistic) diaries or other scrolls.
When I reached the fire shadow area, I was initially concerned it would be almost impossible to get through, not knowing where I had to go. But it was both intuitive and not too difficult.
Great Job!:thumb:
Couple of secret doors I couldn't work out how to open:
1. Bookcase in the room with all the model figures.
2. Bookcase in the room with the caged frogbeast.
(I assume they were doors - I used the BJ test)
Ideas anyone?
Now onto intertheft....

In the words of every Thief player at some time... "How did I miss that?"

Finished playing both missions and they were really fun. Big thanks to the authors for contributing.
The House of the Architect gave a really smooth, pleasant gameplay as well as nice views in several places. It wasn't that big of a challenge, but provided a lot of really fun, classic thieving. I especially liked the twisted constantinesque areas at the bottom. As some of you guys already mentioned, a few readables could really give more depth to this mission and also link it better to the contest's theme.
As for Intertheft, it felt really cramped in the beginning, but it gets better as soon as the mansions are reached. Sounds worked great to make the mission atmospheric. I also liked the humorous bits here and there. I experienced a strange issue - the mission ended with all the objectives checked when I got close to a certain door at Donal's, even though I haven't found the bracelet yet :p
Overall, I feel that Intertheft is the more atmospheric mission, as well as more compatible with the contest's theme, while House of the Architect was slightly more fun to play. I'd say these two are really close.

I would like to thank everyone for their kind words about HotA. I was very anxious during development about what people would think. The warm reception has been very relieving and rewarding.
HotA did ship with several regrettable bugs. My beta phase was a total disaster - the map essentially was not tested before release at all. A future 1.1 release is possible, but not a priority for me at this time.
I did play Intertheft on release, and found it to be a very quality mission. It was around the time I reached the mansions that I realized I had some real competition here. Intertheft felt very tight and challenging, and its claustrophobic dirty halls are quite the contrast to my own map's large, fancy rooms. I appreciate how different the two entries are. I do hope to see more releases from that author in the future.
The only part of Intertheft I took issue with was the room with all the large crates - the guards there would hear me drop down onto the crates, since they were objects and not geometry. I think it may have been better to simply make some cubic brushes and paint the sides with wooden textures in this case. But this was a small blight on an overall fantastically executed map.
I will probably return to Dromed at some point, but it won't be for at least a year or more. This development did a number on me, and I have a lot of real life matters to focus on right now.
Thank you everyone again, and enjoy the maps.

recently when i play older missions some of them ,when i am on a crate and drop to floor make a sound even if crouched ,i like when i drop onto something from a low height to be silent if done while crouching,so i agree
