Hey, I HATED the old bright white solid el-crappo crosshair, so I did some searching around and found out how to make a new one.

Here it is:

Maybe you'll need to right click and "save target as"
Just put the file in your Morrowind/Data Files/Textures directory (it shouldn't overwrite anything, unless you already have a modified crosshair there)

this crosshair is barely noticable, so that you can actually ignore it like it's not there until those times when you WANT to see it to zero in on that little coin stack on the ground or whatever, then you just look in the middle of your screen and voila there is the little crosshair waiting to help you out :) :D

This was worth the time and effort just for myself, but I thought I'd share it with you all as well!

Here are some comparisons (I cropped the pics to mainly just the center)

Try looking at the first pic and ignoring the crosshair - not too bad is it. Now try looking at the second pic and ignoring the crosshair - can't do it can you!

I really like the new one because it's very faint and not bold and in your way - it's IMPOSSIBLE to ignore the old crosshair and it ruins the atmosphere of the game despite its usefulness at times.

The screenshots were of course totally useless, but the crosshair isn't, looks nice but did actually irritate me in the beginning, since I knew I had a new crosshair, so I kept looking at it...but I soon stopped and now I have no complaints.
