OEM will be better if you can get it, as it will be cheaper. It's the version without a box (but usually with a manual) that system builders use.

Photos of your case bling is nice and all, but how about some reports on gaming performance (and I don't mean 3DMark scores). :)
Tried cranking Stalker: CS with full DX10 effects on?

hmm, i'll need to grab FRAPS and and a fairly new game...don't have Stalker. Maybe I can pop in Fallout 3 with max res, AA, and AS. See what framerate I pull.

Hit one little snag with my battery/surge protector, but I fixed it. Apparently it only draws 350W while my PSU draws 750W, so it slowly drained the battery to empty. Disconnected the battery and all is good.
Hi LC
Disconnecting the battery is defeating the object of having a UPS(and may even cause damage to the control circuits), you should send the UPS back and get one capable of supplying at least 900W(pc and monitor)

The Battery/Surge protector is roughly 10 years old..so no sending back. The computer and monitor still can utilize its surge protection though. Though after 10 years, who knows how beneficial it is.
Does radioshack, walmart, or bestbuy sell them?

Found this 900 Watt (1500VA) on NewEgg for $109 - (

I salvaged an old APC 1500VA rack mount unit, I just replaced the batteries and now it sits on its side under the desk,
