The lobby fight was hellish, but the Osprey? What were you guys doing? I just got past that part and I barely took any damage (playing on Normal). All I did was stand at the bottom of the ramp and fire the insect gun. After the third wave of soldiers (all in all only three or so managed to get a shot at me) I took out the Osprey with the particle gun and that was it.
EDIT: The Osprey goes down from 3-4 normal shots from the particle gun by the way. Took two fully charged shots in the original. Then again in the original Apache's went down from one fully charged shot, while in BS they take all the ammo in existence to kill.

After jumping through the hole int he floor, when the Brute and the 2 Vorti's teleport in, they pretty much whittle me down while i'm trying to kill them, seeing as how you're basically in a corridor with no cover, they just destroy my health. Then I have to start the osprey fight with no health left, and marines that can snipe with sub-machine guns. I suppose the wasp gun would've worked. But I didn't think of that. I also find hiding and using tricks like that make the game less fun. I want to be out in combat, not flinging homing missles from my cubby hole.
