Damn, that's some heavy editing for anyone.
However I heard about some people getting some sort of tools via e-mail.

Just thought I would let you know that the 1.18 patch is out. The funny thing is its not on jowoods site, I had to take a round about way from their forums through another website to filefront.

installed the patch (and the game too, hehe) and man, one very annoying thing i always had to suffer was the jowood intro. the game would take me to the desktop and i had to wait for the logo movie or whatever to finish and then it would take me back to the game.
the last time i played arx though, i realized i could install the indeo drivers or whatever, and it would be fixed.
now it all works nicely :)

And just to confirm that, as expected, the patch does not do anything about the coronas-through-walls issue with the nVidia GF8x00 series video cards.

to answer the question about Arx's compatibility w/Windows Vista...I can confirm on MY laptop (Celeron M 440, 1 gig DDR 2 dual channel, graphics handled by a Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family) it runs flawlessly.
edit:can I get a link to the 1.18 patch?

Please for the love of god come out in the US. It's nearly impossible finding a new copy of Arx, and mine disappeared a long with a case of pre-2003 games that I had.
