Somehow I just don't find humor in this one. Maybe it's because I used to be an aircrew surival equipmentman (parachute rigger) in the U.S. Navy and have known people killed in helicopter accidents such as this. It's all fun and games unless your the one cleaning up the fucking bloody cockpit after someones inards gets splattered over everything after the helocopter hit the water at 80 knots or whatever. Of course this is comm chat and I should expect such retarded humor from some.

Well, obviously. No one is objecting to the fact that you posted the news (although I can see there would be objections from people if you just linked and said 'oh dear, look what happened' on the grounds it's not an interesting thread :p) but the way it's done.
On a side note, I saw this on the news yesterday and was amazed they used the footage. The news always feels like a sanitised, safe window onto an often tragic world. To see them actually show people dying (albeit not explictly) on screen felt massively uncomfortable (possibly not the right word).
Also, what's with all the 'LOOK OUT, COMM CHAT WILL GET CROSS' posts?
