I've a terrible Atheros AR9287 Wireless Network Adapter that constantly loses signal and drops my connection.
I think it's the card because both Macs are fine, in the same room (office), as are the phones and tablets.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good network card?
The mobo is a Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI-CF with an Intel i7-6700K CPU running Windows 10 64bit.

My experiences with wifi cards is that getting a good one is a turkey shoot. You can get similar cards by the same manufacturer, and have an entirely different experience with both. The best thing you can do is hit up (

Yeah, I know. This probably wasn't the answer you were hoping for. But...well, there's a reason why I still hook my main computer directly up to the router even now.

I've had very good luck with this: (

I've been using it for a few years and have never had a dropped connection. I have had a few issues with Bluetooth, but I can't say if it's the card or the devices themselves, and generally it works fine.
