Once again this year I have bought aproximately one album FROM this year but I thought it was pretty cool so I'm going to say I rather enjoyed The Tragically Hip - World Container.
SEE YOU ALL NEXT DECEMBER WITH ANOTHER EXCITING PICK

But all the attention whoring aside can I get an amen
the car is on fire
and theres no driver at the wheel
it went like this:
The buildings caved in on themselves
Mothers clutching babies
Picked through the rubble
and pulled out their hair
the skyline was beautiful on fire
all twisted metal stretching upwards
everything washed in a thin fucking orange haze
i said "kiss me, you're beautiful"
"these are truly the last days"
you grabbed my hand
and we fell into it
like a daydream
or a fever
hahaha

Seriously, it's way too soon for me to make up my mind about 2006. The only thing I know for sure yet is that Waits' "Orphans" was great and Dresden Dolls' "Yes, Virginia" was good. I still got a laundry list of shit to listen to so I'll be back next December with my 2006 list.
