Okay, it's good for you two guys. :)
However, the OP is of the type that has to ask where to find very basic things, such as yarn and silver weapons. So, I'm quite sure that he might like or even need the extra spoilers.
Many thanks again Lytha, you´re excellent full detailed spoilers are always welcomed to me :thumb:, i´ve seen all towns, my favourite is Chorroll, i´ve come across with some oblivion gates, how many there are out there in Varfendell? Anyway, i´ve alreay recover 2 items that Martin Requested, i´m still in progress for the other item...Are the expantions shivering Isles or nights of the nine hard to finish?

Technically you are now in Cyrodiil, not Vvardenfell ;) And whilst some are fixed, many are generated randomly with more being created as you close others, so you can't really put an exact figure on that.

There will be up to 60 Oblivion gates by default. Usually, they open only when you are in their proximity, but some open on their own initiative.
All of the gates will close after you have finished the "Paradise" quest, which is after the Battle for Bruma - quite soon along the your main quest line, in other words.
So, maybe it's time to put the main quest on a temporary halt, if you may want to farm the Oblivion gates for their sigil stones. Sigil stones, at character level 17, provide some of the best enchantments the game has to offer. Since you're not level 17 yet, you might like a mod that levels the quest reward items (and the sigil stones) for you. TES Nexus ( (
http://www.tesnexus.com/index.php) ) has the mods.
Of course, if you're playing it on the PC, then you can just put the optimal sigil stones into your inventory with the console, too. :p That's not quite as satisfying as farming them though, at least for me.
I've only finished KotN once, and that's quite a while ago. So I got no spoilers for that available... I recall that the female knight was bugged for me and I had to get an unofficial patch for the mod. I don't usually play knights in shiney armor anyway, since I like my infamy and can't wear the armor then; and the people gave me nasty comments after I became a "fallen saint" after my one time completion of that expansion.
And I don't even own Shivering Isles. :)

One of the (many) things that bugged me about KotN is that at one point you've got several assigned tasks to complete, but you need the reward from one task to complete to complete another and you're not even given a hint that this is the case. I wasted a lot of time on that before I gave up and looked at a walkthrough. :grr:
Shivering Isles was the best of the expansions IMO. Lots of fun content, doesn't mess up any of the existing gameplay. It gave Sheogorath a better voice actor too.

Martimus defeated that giant Devil and the whole Cyrodiil is free again of serious threaths, I liked this game, i´ll replay some other time, so i can explore better all objectives, i guess i´ve seen all places that were suppose to be seen, The Soundtrack of Jeremy Soul is Great!:thumb: what difficult level would you suggest me to play in the next time i replay this game?
Now i´m going to play Ghotic 3...Hurayyyyy!!!!:D

Hm... you've seen the Main Quest and (parts of?) the Fighters' Guild. That's 18+20 out of 203 quests, not including Shivering Isles or KotN or other mods. You haven't yet seen all that we were supposed to see. :)
Difficulty recommendation: I'm playing Oblivion with Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, a lot of mods and I very recently discovered Kobu's Character Advancement System (a mod that changes the leveling system totally). I play it at the default difficulty setting so far, unless I encounter one of OOO's randomly generated nasty foes or dungeon levels - when I get a "spirit of the woods" or a gargoyle spawned in my face when my level 1 character walks from Chorrol to Weatherleah, then I might also just kill it with the console command.
Medium difficulty with OOO and KCAS feels a tiny bit too easy rightnow. I guess it's because this character did not go for some levels of endurance&strength powerleveling from level 1-14ish by running around in heavy armor with a sword; thus my marksmanship and agility are very good for my current level and the foes are still mediocre at best.
I might try a hardest difficulty game some time, but I guess this would be just tedious after a couple of levels.

Thanks for your suggestions, Lytha you have to play Gothic 3, this game is awsome, unlike Oblivion it has no loadings when exploring any place, and you can hardly find a building with another replica (buldings alike) in other location :D
Nameless Voice on 20/8/2009 at 08:47
I still prefer 1-2 second loading times every now and then to 2+ minute loading times every time I die.
