But the Wabbajack is too amusing and useless to give up!

Yeah, I like the Wabbajack too... but giving it up is better than giving up Asura's Star, and if the OP doesn't want to level up and is playing vanilla, then he's either stalled for a very long time now or gives up one of these two.
I personally always give Martin one of the daedric blunt weapons (Malacath's or Molag Bal's). I never use blunt excessively because I got a weightless Light of Dawn with me and prefer blades anyway, so I don't think that I'd use these items anyway.
Skeleton Key might be a good option for something to give to Martin as well. I like Very Easy, Hard and Very Hard locks at low security level, and Fortify Security 100/2 sec is good enough for those moments when I just can't be arsed with the Easy or Average ones.

Giving the Skeleton Key away with vanilla Oblivion breaks you Security skill, though. Not recommended without a patch or mod that fixes that bug.

Or you could wait until you get whichever type of weapon you're not using (bladed or blunt) and then give that up. Most of the daedric weapons don't do much for me anyway, even if they're a type that I use.

There is another daedric quest which you can do at level 2 in vanilla. Sheogorath's.
Travel to Bravil, and then from there towards Leyawin. Stick to the western frontier of Cyrodiil while doing so and you should notice the shrine marker on your radar.
The item of Sheogorath is definitely a better choice of an item to give to Martin than Asura's Star (one of the most useful items in the entire game, so hold onto it.)
ah, thanks for the tip, do you know where can i find ectoplasm?
Nameless Voice on 11/8/2009 at 14:02
On 'dead' ghosts / waiths.
Lytha on 11/8/2009 at 14:09
For the Fighters' Guild quest with Margarte in Leyawin? Try the crypt of Leyawin's church. There are 5 ghosts and each drops an ecto.
If happen to be a member of the cleric faction by Knights of the Nine, the ghosts might not be there or they aren't hostile. But I think they attack you when you draw a weapon.
Some other sources of ectoplasm are in Anvil: the haunted ship (look for an Altmer lady on a ship and take her quest), and the haunted house (you need to buy that house before you can enter it).
You'll need a silver, enchanted or daedric weapon to hurt those ghosts.

i´ve reached the level two, i´ve finished morrowind about two month ago along with tribunal and bloodmoon, and i took 3 months to finish all:sweat:, is Oblivion with knights of the nine, shivering isles harder or longer than morrowind with its two expantions?
Anyway, i just want make sure i can reach the end of this game without to much difficults or too much time, then in future i´ll replay it and play in normal difficult and explore everything.
where can i find daedric weapons, in daedric shrines?
