Does anybody know who sang the song in In the Land of Women that's played as Meg Ryan's daughter runs through the mall to Orange Julius?

Sounds singer/songwriter-ish. I love it! Its not on the soundtrack, and my Internet skills must be rusty, 'cause I can't find the bastard. Might have to wait for the DVD and watch the ending credits.

imdb doesn't have the soundtrack listing for that movie. Try the amazon reader reviews for the soundtrack, maybe someone who knows the title is whining about it's occlusion.

I never saw the movie but I just watched a (http://www.moviepooper.com/5/2416landwoman.html) trailer and that had Weezer's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hyoszso38E) Island in the sun. Maybe that's your song.

No doubt you've already tried this, but particularly unusual lyrical phrases are always helpful for searching.

Picking out a line like "I SAW HER SWALLOW THE SUN / HER ELBOWS LIKE HENS OF JUSTICE" narrows down the google choices no end.
