I don't remember the plot of the film, only bits and pieces...
A guy is trapped in a house with evil 'things' surrounding it. To stop the evil things from getting in the guy puts a few drops of blood in the frames of the windows and doors (with a special effect of the blood running around the frame), forming a protective barrier. Another scene shows how the blood was collected from Jesus on the cross and through the centuries this man has used the blood to help people - during a war he uses a few drops on a soldier's wound which then heals instantly.
I remember thinking, that guy's only got a small vial of Jesus' blood, wouldn't it have ran out by now? :cheeky:
Any idea what the film is called?

ahahaha well spotted heretic :thumb:
Billy Zane in his second-best performance. That guy is just on the other side of whatever line Fred Willard is on the other side of.

I got my hands on a rip of the very first Tales from the Crypt movie just last week. It's amazing how time erodes certain movies to dust from the marbled statuesque presence they can retain in your memory.

I thought the same thing too, but at the end of the film this question is answered when Jada Pinkett's character refills the vial from the corpse of the previous holder of the vial. That is, free refills! :D
While it's not as good as I remember, it's still a fun movie with some campy/stupid parts as a break from the gore (the black woman flipping off Billy Zane, Thomas Haden Church's non sequitur about hemorrhoids after he sells out the other characters, the S & M stuff in the upper bedroom, Billy Zane punching through the guys head, etc.)
The one thing about the movie that almost ruins it for me is how the good guy just stands there while demons are manifesting themselves from Billy Zane's blood. The good guy has a good 45 seconds to 1 minute (I've never timed it) to seal doors and windows while the demons are growing, yet he just stands there like an idiot watching them until they're fully formed.
Then he thinks, "Hey, they might come in through the doors and windows!" :nono:

Right i am gonna see how good you guys really are at this! :ebil:
In this film a man is walking down a narrow white corridor, i think the guy realises something is wrong and starts walking faster. Black hands start appearing from the sides of the walls and the guy runs faster down the corridor to get away from them. Unfortunately the black hands eventually reach out enough to grab the man and his overcome.
Another film. A guy is trying to get away from some evil force. He enters a lift/elevator and tries to get back to the ground floor. Halfway down the lift stops and the guy is lying on the lift floor. There's a sound, then suddenly a cable cuts through the lift and cuts the guy in half.
