I have a bunch of techno music I listen to when I run but I'm tired of it. I generally only listen to techno when running, so I don't keep up with the genr e. The stuff I have is along the lines of dj baby Anne, old carl cox, ferry corsten, and others.
At any rate I'm open to whatever (I like just about anything) so recs are appreciated

I'm out of touch with good ol' rave techno for few years now, but you should know Cold Storage, Intermix, Adam Beyer, Sven Väth, LFO, Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, Robert Hood, Luke Slater, Christian Vogel, Speedy J and other notable cadres in the genre. I was totally mad about Marusha's Raveland album when I was 15, and that's to be called the GOOD happy rave techno, unlike what followed her path.
How about juicy, honest goa/psy flavor Astral Projection, Juno Reactor (anything except the last album) or KoxBox?
And these days I have rediscovered old school drum&bass incarnated in legendary Metalheadz Platinum Breakz compilations (pity I can't find the third volume anywhere).

I dunno whether it's 'Techno' or not (oh, you kids), but I've always found it a pretty good running buddy.
Seem to recall it was inspired by watching the Shinkansen Bullet Train, so, uh, you should run fast.

Tiesto. In Search of Sunrise 1, 4, and 6 are highlights. I'm not a big techno person, but I love this stuff.

I think the more pressing matter is that this man is listening to techno.
Really, techno?
Semi-Serious: Well, if you're really intent on listening to crap, I hear that CrazyFrog is a popular techno artist...

A few years back Nike did this series of running soundtracks, 45 minute mixes specifically designed for running, complete with build-up and chill-down parts at the beginning and end. They got some pretty good artists to make em too, Crystal Method, Aesop Rock and LCD Soundsystem. I haven't heard the CM one, didn't like the LCD one(though I don't really like any of his stuff, try that I might), but the Aesop Rock one, titled (

For some reason this was named "S3M.Point Of Departure" after unpacking. Renamed it and now it sounds cool in my Foobar2000. Thanks!
