Sorry 'bout the caps. Anyway, I recently tried to install this mod: (
http://www.machall.com/iotm/mw_mog.html)
But all it really managed to do was screw up my morrowind game. After the first unsuccesful tries to get the thing installed. (I have absolutely no idea where everything goes... I just extract it into the main Morrowind file.) It suddenly decides it doesn't want to load anymore. I get the sscreen where it says:
Play
Data Files
Technical Support
etc.
But if I click on play (Even with this mod turned off) It doesn't do anything... until a couple seconds pass. Then I get one of those error popup thingies. (Pop's up just as a screen in the corner starts to load Morrowind.)
So I uninstalled Morrowind, then reinstalled it. Same thing happens over and over. Even withought that mod in there. (In fact I've removed all the mods.)
So I need some help with it. If someone could make it self extracting then that would make my day; Because I'm unsure how to put everything everywhere.
Sometimes I wish I had a Mac.

Uninstall it again, then install it to a different location. If that doesnt sort it then you might have a problem not connected to the mod install.
Make sure youve closed any mp3 player you might have been running, because it causes that kind of error for me.

Something else that may help... after you uninstall it, copy your saved games to somewhere else and then delete the Morrowind directory. Install it again, and copy your saves back in again. (Some odd little files can be inserted by mods, and if you don't know what you're doing it can be nigh impossible to spot 'em all; one of those may be screwing you up)

yeah... I took out all the saves and mods the first time I uninstalled it. Except for the Moogle mod. (Great Mod by the way.) So I think it might have something to do with me not placing all the files in the right places. It's just managed to completely confuse me.
That's why I'd like an auto install for it :D 'Cause I don't know shit about transferring files here, copy pasting them there... etc. Anyway, I managed to get all the way up to choosing the species in the game. But when I choose the Moogle it doesn't show the face. (shows yellowyness instead) And says something about the NIF files not working. Then it freezes or crashes.
Anyway that's what happened before I uninstalled it. After I reinstalled it, it wouldn't even start up because of some Land thingy; (It's a texture, If you open up the texture file in your morrowind directory and look hard enough, you'll find it.) It says it can't find the damnable thing... So frustrating!
Ah well. I guess I'll have to go withought the mod. Actually, I should probably uninstall Morrowind completely... it's just eating up space now. I was gonna start playing again with this new Moogle character but it noworky.

That's a funny looking mod, which game is that creature from? It looks pretty surreal running round the streets of Vvardenfell.

I think the guys over at Machall know about it. So ask them.
