Check out my ejecting brass gamesys on SBF - I got the ejecting brass/shells/etc. working pretty well, but didn't mess with the muzzle flashing/weapon animation.

Will do though I want to stay far away from the gamesys...I want anything I make to be cross compatible with ADAOB and the like. Maybe I can put placeholder vhots in my weapons just in case people want to manually enable it?.

I'd like to know more about animated textures. Sure the framerate is piss-slow but I think with a bit of ingenuity, interesting things could be done.
