yes.after that,you will have to run ddfixgui to apply the patch (admin rights required).or you can simply use the pre-patched files,I have already linked them,but I'll do it again:

(http://www.filefront.com/17376197/thief.exe) pre-patched exe
(http://jermi.dyndns.org/~jermi/ddfix/ddfix_1.5.11.zip) latest version of ddfix

extract those two to your thief folder,and you are ready to go.

I had already understood this passage, I only want to know if I must to copy all the content of ddfix folder in Thief folder.:rolleyes:

Also, make sure the resolution in the file ddfix.ini matches that of the game's resolution in the file cam.cfg in the Thief directory.

this game is really weird.:erg:

I applied the ddfix correctly, I started the game but I still can't see the intro movie, because it jumps straight to the main menu.

But if I click on INTRO in the menu, I can see it.:confused:

intro will start automatically only the very first time you start the game,if I remember correctly.as long as it runs when you click "intro",everything should be ok.
