Hi, new member here, but been loving Morrowind, and now Oblivion for some time. Got a question though....
I started trying to use the TES to morrowind, with my Grandchild (yes grandchild) and we could see anything in the dark. Started making the cave, and loaded others as in the instructions online, but all is black in the window... a little help would be much appriciated Thanks in advance

If everything is dark then you just need to click the little light bulb button which will brighten everything up. If the screen is completely black then its probably a technical problem which I can't help you with.

Have you tried increasing gamma correction (through the main menu)?
I'm sorry to be so blunt, but I do not understand your situation very well.

Light bulb doesnt work... cant see anything in the render window, even when placing objects into it???

While your description of a black screen is not what is commonly reported as a render window problem it is possible that you haven’t loaded a cell or are not running your graphics at 32-bit. (
http://www.designamatic.com/MW-Home.html#RenderWindowGrey) Here is a link to one of Klinn’s very helpful construction set guides. It will diagnose some difficulties and offer solutions. I hope your situation falls under its umbrella and you can resolve your problem.
