Hi,
I'm trying to do one of the 7 "pilgrimage" quests required when you join the Tribunal faith. I'm stuck at the Puzzle one in Vivec.
So far I have ventured into the various sewer-type levels under the Temple and Palace, and finally found my way to the Puzzle Room and what I believe is the puzzle shrine (thanks to a Levitate spell from the Moon shrine), but praying there only tells me something like "Breathe his waters and something or other will happen". Which leaves me rather perplex.
Specific questions I have are:
- The Piligrimage book mentions a Silver Sword, but I'm not sure where to buy it?
- The Piligrimage book mentions a Daedra that I need to give the sword to, in order to pray at the shrine, but I don't see any Daedra in the Puzzle room?
- Actually from what I've gathered, the Puzzle area is supposed to be dangerous, with various Daedra guarding it, yet I've only met a few rats??
I guess I am way off on this quest, so I badly need help. I'm tired of swimming in the sewers. :p
Thanks in advance,
Ulrika the smelly Barbarian :tsktsk:
Jump in the water and drown until all your health dissapears, the forcefield on the wall will disappear and you can go to the real shrine behind it. You will need a silver longsword to give to the dremora in there (don't worry he's harmless) you can get one from one of the smiths dotted around Vivec
There should be a chest in the puzzle canal with 4 silver swords. If you can't find it, just go to one of the weaponsmith in town.
Once you have a silver sword,
go up to the shrine then turn around and get into the water there and drown yourself, this opens the way. Just go talk to the Daedra lord there and give it the sword.
Aaaaaaaaaahhh !! :o
I did go underwater, thinking it was sufficient to run out of breath and get slightly injured, but I didn't push the experiment as far as suicide.
Many thanks for the insight!
