Need help with level editor installation.

I can't seem to get the Deus Ex level editor program to work. Whenever I attempt to start up I get this error.

History: UEditorEngine::InitEditor <- UEditorEngine::Init <- InitEngine

Anyone know how to fix this? I'd like to try my hand at making a level.

Do you have MTL installed?

This is a snippet from the ReadMe file for MTL:

Post again if that doesn't solve the problem. You are also sure you have the most recent SDK for Deus Ex, right? It should have been titled DeusExSDK1112f.exe .

Does this MTL come with a straight up install of the Deus Ex GOTY Edition? Cause that's all I've ever done with it. Please note that I don't know what it (MTL) is.

If you haven't installed MTL (a community-created patch for multiplayer games), then it's something else. Don't worry about MTL unless you want to host a DX multiplayer server.

Did you get your copy of DX with a soundblaster Audigy card? Eidos released a patch specifically for that distribution. Here's the official patch download link: (http://support.eidosinteractive.com/GI/CustomerSupport/FaqSearch.jsp)
