Hi there!
I've been playing DX for the first time, and everything was running smooth. Then, with no warning at all, the game hangs itsself (nothing is possible except shutting my computer down). It's not a place but a time problem, I think: I just blew up the freighter and want to get down from it. I think every time the freighter sinks, the game sinks, too. >.<
Any suggestions how I could fix it?

Probably the first thing to try is to copy the map files, sounds and music over from the CD into the relevant folders on your hard drive.
Defragmenting the drive with your saves on it could also help, and temporarily lowering graphics details before buggy transitions is recommended in the readme files and patch documents.

yeah,this looks like corrupted files,try to reinstall the game..you can try to use software mode and low res&details to pass the problematic place,that worked for me as well..

Thanks! I'll try reinstalling and copying the files, since I already tried tuning down the res and all and it didn't work...
