Bikerdude.....I appreciate your Help.

So far I booted into safe mode and did the two disk install from the command prompt. I got the "100%" bar but the panel didn't come up. I rebooted the computer into the normal mode. I then ran the patch to v 1.18 (I didn't download and save and run, I ran it from someone's site.). I tried to execute the Thief 2 program from the desktop icon. That's when I get the "Windows has encountered an error and must close the program. Do you want to send a report ? " I tried a cold boot to see if there was any change but there wasn't. I checked the thief.exe in Taskmanager to see if it was running on dual core. There was a 0 by a CPU and a 1 by a CPU. I uncked the 1 CPU and tried to run Thief witht he same results. Do I need to try the ddfix ?
