1 - What gift would please Grau?
2 - Is there a way to enter the goblin castle (near the troll camp) without necessarily filling the small goblin at the entrance full of arrows? I think the idol is there, and there must be a more "thiefy" way to enter the place?

1. Search the troll mines to find a friend of Greu. He will tell you that you should get him a book of the outside world which you can find in the human library.
2. Talk to the goblin around the fire at the troll camp. He can get you into the goblin's castle.

And is it normal that the key-to-everywhere-in-the-castle didn't appear in my inventory when the king supposedly gave it to me?
I checked, my inventory wasn't full.

I don't remember the king giving me a key. He just yelled for the guard to open the door when I wanted to go through.

i dont remember ever getting an everywhere key either.
plus "everywhere" probably means "everywhere except peoples private bedrooms". you can find certain keys to bedrooms later

As you enter the castle take the first right. You should find a guard in here and if you talk to him after talking to the king he will let you in the vault.
